I picked up my matted and framed painting at Pictures Plus and I was so happy with the results!
Painting ‘Leahi’ was a dream come true. Not only was it the largest watercolor painting I have done, but it also was in collaboration with Aloha Dreamboard for the grad opening of their office at Pineapple Patio. Because many people saw it at the grand opening as well as all the clients that come through the office, it also led to more commissions and larger paintings for other office spaces and homes.
It was the first time I worked on a painting with specific Feng Shui intentions. The image of Leahi with a white background were all part of Feng Shui. I learned a lot about the process of Feng Shui and it also helped me as I painted it to know what kind of intention and energy I wanted to infuse it with. When I paint, it is a meditative process for me and knowing what this painting is used for in an office space really helped me to know what kind of energy I wanted to infuse it with. I began to feel the energy I know it would be meant to share for all of Tiare’s clients that would see it. The visual of a strong and powerful mountain could play a role in the manifesting of dreams for so many people and I was honored to be able to contribute in this way.
You also may notice that this perspective is not the typical angle of Leahi you normally see in photos and postcards. This angle was specifically chosen by Tiare as it was the view she enjoyed while surfing in Waikiki where she grew up. It was exciting for me to create a different take on the Leahi “Diamond Head” we all know so well.
I highly recommend booking a session with Tiare Thomas who is the owner, dream/life/business coach at Aloha Dreamboard. You can get a sense of her office’s energy for yourself and manifest your dreams while you're at it!
